Nubia's NaviX Ultra received a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) network access license on Sept. 1, completing the regulatory process from large-model filing to terminal network approval. Nubia said the handset — billed as the world's first AI-agent smartphone to move from proof-of-concept to scaled commercial use — will ship with a Doubao Phone Assistant, is positioned as a mass-production flagship, and is scheduled to launch and go on sale in September.
