Qatar foreign ministry spokesman Majid al-Ansari accused Israel of exploiting
the US‑Iran confrontation to carry out deadly strikes across the region and said
Doha is consulting with Oman and Pakistan on de‑escalation measures. He warned
an unresolved Strait of Hormuz crisis could lead to wider escalation and harm
all parties' interests, and said Qatar and partners are working to secure a
peaceful solution to reopen the strait. Al-Ansari also warned Israeli occupation
authorities not to use regional tensions to impose new realities in Palestinian,
Lebanese or Syrian territory.
