Sept. 2 — Changzhou Xingyu Automotive Lighting Co. held an online earnings
briefing. Chairman and CEO Zhou Xiaoping said the company, responding to
publicity over its recent termination of contracts with recent graduates, has
issued a public apology, is implementing remedial measures under government
guidance, and thanked media for supervising disclosure of the facts. She said
the company has lodged complaints with the Cyberspace Administration and
cybersecurity/public security authorities over inaccurate reports to protect its
legal rights.
