Thailand’s largest private asset manager, Kaitai Asset Management, which manages
about 2 tln THB (~$60bn), said dividend-paying Thai banks and developers
benefiting from the data-center boom are attractive safe-haven trades if other
markets sell off. The firm expects Thailand’s benchmark stock index—up about 25%
YTD—to extend gains to 1,700 by year-end, roughly 7% above Tuesday’s close.
