Dallas Federal Reserve researchers said Tuesday that since the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, the impact on college graduates and those transitioning to new jobs has been particularly pronounced. The report found that in the first quarter of 2025 alone, hiring for jobs more affected by AI declined by about 8% compared to those less affected. Researchers stated that the occupations most affected by AI in Texas are concentrated in software development, web design, and computer-intensive roles, with managers, clerical workers, editors, and other white-collar jobs also showing significant impact.
