According to Iran's Mehr News Agency, citing Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth, diplomatic sources revealed that the US State Department has suspended its plan to redeploy diplomatic personnel (including to Israel) to the Middle East due to escalating military tensions between the US and Iran. Previously, The New York Times reported on August 28 that the White House had decided to redeploy US embassy staff evacuated due to the outbreak of war with Iran back to the Middle East.
