At midday close, most domestic futures contracts declined, with palladium falling over 4%, silver down nearly 4%, lithium carbonate and platinum down over 3%, tin and gold down over 2%, and TSR20 rubber and coking coal down nearly 2%. On the upside, SC crude oil rose nearly 9%, ethylene glycol (EG) hit its daily limit, methanol and fuel oil rose over 4%, benzene and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) rose over 3%, styrene (EB) rose nearly 3%, and container shipping to Europe rose over 2%.
