Iranian foreign ministry spokesman BAGHAEI rebuked CENTCOM spokesperson Hawkins
after Hawkins said the US does not target civilians. BAGHAEI cited documented US
strikes in Afghanistan and Iraq in 2002, 2004 and 2008 that he said killed
civilians, including women and children, and pointed to a scene in the US drama
Homeland depicting a drone strike on a Pakistani wedding that killed about 40
civilians. He said the Sirik wedding attack is not a story and the victims are
real.
