A reporter asked Admiral Samuel Paparow, commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, "Under what circumstances would you obey orders to launch military action against Canada?" Paparow called the scenario "absolutely absurd" and the question "unnecessarily emotional." When pressed further, Paparow said, "Are you also going to ask me what the plans are for an attack on the Martians?"
