Independent technology market research firm Counterpoint released a report today stating that Changxin Memory's DRAM market share is steadily increasing, reaching 10% as of the second quarter of this year, up from 4% a year ago. This means that it has moved from being a "fringe player outside the Big Three" to a position that cannot be ignored as a fourth force.
