According to Iranian media Fars News, since the beginning of the eighth month of the Iranian calendar (August 23 to September 2 in the Gregorian calendar), oil sales revenue has increased Iran's foreign exchange reserves by more than $1 billion. Previously, in the first five months of this year, Iran's oil sales revenue had already covered more than 80% of its budget revenue. The oil revenue injected in September will replenish the central bank's reserves, thereby meeting the country's needs.
