Downdetector reported Thursday morning that multiple major AI platforms
Experienced service disruptions, including OpenAI, Claude, Grok and Cursor.
Claude displayed an error message: "Due to unexpected capacity constraints,
Claude is unable to respond to your message. Please try again later." Grok
displayed messages saying: "Grok is currently experiencing problems. We are
working to restore service as soon as possible," and "This model is temporarily
unavailable. Please try another model." Downdetector users first reported Grok
and Claude interruptions at about 9:00 a.m. US Eastern Time; reports of OpenAI
issues began around 10:30 a.m. US Eastern Time.
