Vice President Vance said the Trump administration is taking steps to reduce
consumer prices and cost-of-living pressures. He said the administration’s
TrumpRx program now covers nearly 800 drugs and described it as among the
largest reductions in drug costs in 60 years. Vance accused Democrats of prior
inaction and of favoring higher taxes, warned they would reverse these measures
if elected, and said the administration will continue to strengthen policies to
further lower prescription drug prices and sustain disinflationary effects.
