At midday close on China's futures exchanges, most major contracts rose.
Ferrosilicon hit the daily limit. PVC rallied nearly 5%; LPG and palladium
gained over 3%; soda ash rose about 3%; caustic soda climbed over 2%; aluminum
and Shanghai silver were up about 2%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell
more than 7%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) dropped over 2%; paraxylene and PTA
slipped more than 1%; SC crude oil lost about 1%.
