According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, the chairman of the Iranian Export Federation stated that the country's foreign trade situation is vastly different from the past following the recent outbreak of war and developments. He pointed out that continuing with past export, import, and foreign exchange repatriation policies is no longer sufficient under the current circumstances, making a re-evaluation of monetary and trade policies necessary. He added, "In the export sector, if strict measures were taken in the past regarding the repatriation of foreign exchange and foreign exchange debt, continuing with the same approach under the current circumstances could lead to a decline in the country's export capacity."
