Samsung Electronics and Arm have formally launched a joint R&D project to
develop a next‑generation edge AI SoC. Arm approved a one‑time engineering
payment at the end of August to fund development and has begun the program with
Samsung. The collaboration will pair Arm’s core IP with Samsung’s system
integration and commercialization efforts to produce customized chips for end
customers.
