Apple will kick off its largest-ever new-product cycle at a Sept. 9 launch, new
CEO John Ternus said. Ternus will unveil updated iPhone and Apple Watch models
at the event, but Apple says those releases are only the start of a multi-year
slate of new form factors and product categories planned for 2026, 2027 and
beyond. Apple has spent the past five years developing the lineup; in an
internal memo Ternus wrote: "I'm incredibly excited about what's coming. Next
week we'll have a big launch that will be spectacular. I'm equally excited about
the products that follow, including great devices already in development and
ones we haven't yet imagined."
