According to Israel's Channel 14, Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gwer unveiled a proposal to relocate nearly two million Palestinians from the Gaza Strip within seven years. This framework, known as the "710 Disengagement Plan," sets phased targets, which Ben-Gwer's Jewish Power party describes as "voluntary migration." The plan seeks to have 250,000 people leave in the first year, 1.1 million within three years, and approximately 1.9 million within seven years. At the heart of the plan is the establishment of a dedicated Ministry of Migration Affairs, equipped with an independent budget, a minister, and an international negotiating body. Initial studies have explored potential destinations including Turkey, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and several Arab countries. The plan proposes direct funding from the Israeli government, coupled with international support mechanisms, to provide resettlement support for migrants for up to 24 months, including transportation, housing, and job training.
