According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending September 1, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 10-year Treasury futures by 70,300 contracts to 909,275 contracts. Speculators reduced their net short positions in CBOT U.S. ultra-long-term Treasury futures by 36,734 contracts to 369,311 contracts.
