President Trump posted that the U.S. economy added 162,000 jobs in August,
calling the print nearly three times the Bloomberg-survey economists' forecast.
He attributed the strength to his tariff-driven trade policies, saying they have
reshaped the global economy and returned manufacturing jobs to the U.S., and
credited full expensing (first-year immediate expensing) with spurring factory
construction that will hire American workers.
