Sept. 2-4, in Vladivostok Chinese Politburo Standing Committee member and Vice
Premier Ding Xuexiang met with Russian President Putin, co-chaired the 13th
China‑Russia Investment Cooperation Committee with Russian First Deputy Prime
Minister Manturov and the 23rd China‑Russia Energy Cooperation Committee with
Deputy Prime Minister Novak, and attended the opening of the 8th China‑Russia
Energy Business Forum. Ding conveyed Xi Jinping’s greetings and said China will
work with Russia to implement leaders’ consensus and take concrete measures to
deepening integration of bilateral interests. He urged expanding and upgrading Far
East cooperation, using the Northeast–Far East cooperation mechanism and
relevant policy support to align China’s Northeast revitalization with Russia’s
Far East development and boost cooperative scale and outcomes.
