Early on Sept 5 the Russian Defense Ministry said Russian forces used land-based
high‑precision weapons and long‑range strike drones in cluster attacks across
Ukraine. In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast they struck metallurgical plants supplying the
defence industry, naming the Dnipropetrovsk metallurgical plant and the “Dnipro”
plant — described as Ukraine’s largest military metal supplier. In Mykolaiv city
and Mykolaiv Oblast they hit a logistics center storing military supplies and
the Mykolaivskaya substation. In Odesa Oblast they struck a logistics center
storing military materiel, and at Chornomorsk port they struck a dry‑cargo
vessel loaded with Ukrainian weapons and military materiel.
