Iran's economic ministry said it has established a dedicated 'economic war'
command to centrally identify wartime disruptions and develop implementation
plans. The unit will initially focus on areas under the ministry's purview and
aim to rapidly handle business, trade, financial and other economic problems
within its capabilities. For issues beyond its authority, the ministry said it
will leverage its role in national economic policymaking—including the
government's economic committee and economic headquarters—to coordinate
interagency responses at the highest level. The task force's main remit is to
identify war-induced problems and seek feasible solutions.
