JEFFERIES analyst Edison Lee says Apple’s new CEO John Ternus will unveil his first product lineup on Wednesday, marking the start of a three- to five-year product cycle planned before his appointment to revive upgrade demand. Lee says iPhone demand is saturated and Apple must push new form factors to drive replacements rather than rely on existing designs to extract higher prices. UBS’s David Vogt forecasts at least 10 mln first-year sales for an Apple foldable—roughly equal to Samsung’s trailing-12-month foldable volumes—and notes that, versus ~250 mln annual iPhone shipments, the segment is small but can raise handset ASPs. Vogt adds that under supply pressure Apple would favor producing higher‑priced models and cutting low‑end output. Multiple analysts expect Apple to raise prices across the iPhone line this week, a move that could attract as much market attention as any new hardware.
