At its 2026 interim results briefing, CTO and chief software architect Yang Jian
said Muxi has mitigation measures and reliable domestic substitutes for key chip
supply-chain nodes — wafer foundry, packaging and high-capacity memory — and
that adverse impacts would be limited even if geopolitical pressure widens. The
domestically developed Xiyun C600 entered mass production in May 2026 and passed
national security and reliability evaluations run jointly by the China
Information Security Evaluation Center and the National Confidential Technology
Evaluation Center; capacity is relatively secure. Xiyun C700 is progressing
normally according to previously disclosed plans.
