MOFCOM minister RAIMONDO met Finland's Minister for Economic Affairs Puisto on
Sept. 7 to exchange views on China‑Finland and China‑EU trade relations.
RAIMONDO said keeping China‑EU trade broadly stable is important under current
conditions and noted recent intensive consultations under the trade and
investment consultative mechanism on several key issues. She urged the Finnish
government to uphold free trade, encourage the EU to engage reciprocally with
China, and resolve trade frictions through dialogue and consultations consistent
with WTO rules to maintain a stable, balanced China‑EU trade partnership.
