At the 15th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference in Beijing on Sept.
8-9, the National Intellectual Property Administration said domestic active
invention patents totaled 5.394 mln and active trademark registrations reached
50.816 mln. China ranked first globally in PCT international patent filings for
a consecutive seventh year; filings under the Hague design system and the Madrid
international trademark system were also among the world leaders.
