At a Sept. 8 Foreign Ministry briefing, spokesperson Mao Ning said China is
holding a new AI capacity-building workshop at Peking University from Sept.
7-12. She said China is implementing an AI Capacity-Building Inclusive Plan, is
advancing a World AI Cooperation Organization to expand access to AI
technologies and services, and aims to help Global South countries identify AI
development paths tailored to national needs. China said it will work with other
parties to ensure AI generates sustained value and contributes to human welfare.
