CINNO Research said global LCD TV panels fell slightly in September with a
narrowed rate of decline and pronounced size-based divergence. Brands’ year-end
sales pushes and promotional restocking briefly lifted demand; high‑generation
fabs kept utilization high and Q3 shipments rose steadily. The supply‑demand
balance remains loose and near-term prices face downward pressure. With upstream
material costs under strain, some panel makers may cut utilization in early Q4
to shore up prices; overall panel prices are expected to weaken initially in Q4
then stabilize.
