UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Sani Zeyoudi said on the 8th the UAE has opened multiple alternative logistics corridors and is accelerating east‑coast port construction to mitigate transit disruptions at the Strait of Hormuz. Actions include regional corridors linking the Arabian Gulf, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Oman; transshipment via Oman's Sohar and Duqm ports; expedited work at Khorfakkan, Fujairah and Dibba; and commissioning new energy pipelines to link UAE energy supplies with international markets. Zeyoudi said these measures will be incorporated into the UAE's long‑term national strategy as regional geopolitical shifts this year pose more direct, more severe supply‑chain challenges.
