A spokesman for Iran’s parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee
said revenues from the Strait of Hormuz, outside the annual budget, will be used
to issue consumer commodity vouchers; bolster national defense and
infrastructure with priority for war-affected provinces, strategic islands and
maritime facilities; strengthen air defenses; and improve welfare for armed
forces personnel.
