As of the 23:00 market close, most domestic futures contracts rose, with methanol up nearly 4%, caustic soda up nearly 2%, and coking coal, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), paraxylene, propylene, PTA, and synthetic rubber all rising by more than 1%. On the downside, soybean meal fell 1%, and asphalt and palm oil fell nearly 1%.
