The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Aerospace Force said early on Sept. 9
local time it launched a heavy missile strike on a US military base in Jordan in
retaliation for a US attack on an Iranian oil tanker. The statement said the
ballistic missile strike hit maintenance and deployment hangars and fighter
shelters for F-35, F-16 and F-15 aircraft, causing heavy damage, and warned it
continued vigilance and combat readiness will persist until the aggression
stops.
