Indonesian AI infrastructure platform Zankore, backed by NVIDIA, signed a $3.1
bln loan on Wednesday to purchase advanced GPUs. The facility was underwritten
by Citigroup, ING, Natixis, Qatar National Bank and UOB, with Citigroup as sole
debt advisor, and ranks among Asia’s largest AI infrastructure financings. GPU
financing is emerging as the next frontier for AI lenders, with banks and
private-credit firms moving beyond data centers to finance hardware; bank-led
deals in Asia have been scarce amid uncertainty over chip residual values and
US–China tech geopolitics.
