The head of Iran's Civil Aviation Organization said the US's new round of
sanctions on Iranian carriers is merely a continuation of a failed policy. He
said the measures may raise carriers' operating costs and make it harder to meet
some demand, but so far have not disrupted Iran's domestic flight network and
will not be able to do so in future.
