Iran’s foreign ministry condemned what it called U.S. attacks on Iranian
tankers, saying U.S. actions threaten regional security and that U.S. vessels
and bases have been subjected to defensive strikes; Tehran warned it will
respond decisively to any U.S. military attack. An IRGC spokesman said no
advanced technology can penetrate Iran’s multilayer surveillance in the Strait
of Hormuz.
