On Sept. 9 Shanghai municipal government and China Unicom signed a "15th Five-Year" strategic cooperation agreement to implement the UniAI·Smart-Linked Shanghai strategy. The pact commits both sides to accelerate new information-infrastructure buildout, push AI+-driven digital transformation, deepen industry–academia–research–application collaboration, and develop benchmark projects to scale Shanghai’s digital-economy ecosystem and support its "five centers" development.
