Tino Krupala, co-chair of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, stated that the party opposes the supply of drones to Ukraine that could be used to attack Russian territory. "We oppose the use of German-made drones for deep strikes on Russian territory," Krupala reiterated, adding that the AfD firmly opposes the delivery of weapons to crisis areas and war zones. Krupala noted that the party's position on this issue is a long-standing principle and one of its campaign platforms. Regarding the question of lifting sanctions against Russia, the AfD leader emphasized: "Sanctions of any kind are meaningless, and most importantly, they have already caused enormous damage to the German economy itself." Germany is Ukraine's largest aid donor, with total German support to Kyiv exceeding €100 billion since February 24, 2022, including €43.3 billion in humanitarian aid and €57.6 billion in military support. Russia has repeatedly emphasized that providing weapons to the Kyiv regime will only prolong the conflict.
