Danske Bank said it is making its largest-ever wealth management investment,
launching a new product for affluent private clients called Butterfly built on
BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform. The bank, Denmark’s largest lender and the
first Nordic bank to adopt the technology, said the tool will help bankers
manage portfolios and analyze risk. The move forms part of a push to grow
fee-based revenue by expanding digital platforms and partnering to deliver
advisory services. Butterfly will roll out gradually to more high-net-worth
clients and expand to customers in Finland and Sweden later this year.
