Resale transaction pace has accelerated and owners’ bargaining room has narrowed, signaling a clear market warming. Data from HeShuo show Beijing new-home and resale transaction volumes rose 8.5% and 2.3% Centaline Research Center reports August resale online signings in Beijing at 13,853 units, down 1.3% MoM but up about 4.1% YoY, marking six consecutive months above the 13,000-unit threshold; on Aug. 31 single-day signings hit 852. Industry participants say the measures are gradually unlocking first-time and upgrade demand. Transactions are expected to continue recovering through the seasonal September–October period, but the rebound is likely to remain uneven.
