On Sept. 9 at the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the Digital Trade Trends and Frontier Forum met to advance implementation of the Digital Economy and Green Development International Trade Cooperation Framework Initiative. MOFCOM Vice Minister Jiang Chenghua opened the forum and said China will continue to promote the digital economy and green development, share practical experience with Global South partners, and act as an active proponent of the Framework to deepen practical international trade cooperation in digital and green sectors and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals. China called for open cooperation, expanded trade and strengthened capacity building to accelerate digital‑green economic collaboration.
