Apple is set to unveil its first foldable iPhone at its autumn event on Sep. 9
(US time). Chinese firms are reported to supply some components—UTG (ultra‑thin)
glass, hinge parts, MIM precision parts, thermal solutions and FPC—mainly as
tier‑2 component suppliers. Due to Apple’s strict supplier confidentiality, most
firms do not disclose customers or orders. Investors phoned eight China A‑share
suppliers; Furong Technology explicitly said it is not in Apple’s foldable
iPhone supply chain; the other firms declined to disclose order details citing
client confidentiality.
