At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Pure benzene hit its daily limit up, while SC crude oil and styrene (EB) rose over 5%, propylene and fuel oil rose over 3%, and the monthly average prices for plastics, asphalt, paraxylene, and polypropylene rose over 2.5%. On the downside, rapeseed oil fell over 2%, while palm oil, synthetic rubber, peanuts, live pigs, coking coal, pulp, rapeseed meal, red dates, and manganese silicon all fell over 1%.
