Russia's FSB said it has detained an alleged SBU agent who is a Russian citizen
working in an embassy security unit and who collected data to facilitate an
attack on the British ambassador and diplomatic staff in Moscow, Sputnik
reported. The FSB said Kyiv sought to use the attack to draw London into direct
conflict with Russia and to secure additional weapons, and that the detainee
acted on instructions from a Ukrainian blogger. The agency urged Russian
citizens to avoid contact with pro‑Ukrainian bloggers and to report any contacts
to state security services.
