Zhuochuang Info says China’s hog sector remained loss-making in August, with
cash-flow stress accelerating the exit of inefficient capacity. Large producers
are selling piglets to raise cash, pushing mid-to-large herd inventories lower.
The firm expects industry losses to persist near term and sees marginal
tightening on the supply side.
