Sept. 10 — At a State Council Information Office briefing, Cong Lin, deputy
director of the Financial Regulatory Administration, said that over the 15th
Five-Year Plan the agency will step up support for major strategies, key sectors
and weak links, increase financial backing to boost consumption and investment,
stabilize enterprises and employment, and promote technological innovation, and
will strengthen financing for the 'two-heavy' and 'two-new' categories.
