CSRC vice chairman Li Chao said at a State Council Information Office briefing
the regulator has run three consecutive annual special campaigns against
listed-company accounting fraud, probing 247 cases and imposing fines and
confiscations totaling nearly 10 billion yuan. The CSRC has strengthened
inter-ministerial and central-local coordination, set up a regular long-term
anti-fraud enforcement mechanism, referred to 134 suspected criminal cases to
public security authorities and supported 84 civil lawsuits.
