Murata Manufacturing, the MLCC market leader, has notified customers it will
begin product-line optimization in fiscal 2026, discontinuing specific MLCC part
numbers in its consumer-standard and automotive series and reallocating
capacity. Affected series include GRM, GRJ, GRT, GXM, GXT, GCM, GCJ, GCG and
ZRA. Customers were asked to submit written confirmation by end‑2027 and place
final orders by March 31, 2028.
