Iraq News Agency (INA) quoted Oil Minister Bashim Mohammed Hudaer saying Baghdad
plans to lift oil exports via Syria and Turkey’s Ceyhan to above 1.0 mln bpd. He
said Iraq exported about 3.0 mln bpd in September, remains in compliance with
OPEC output limits, and current capacity is no more than 4.2 mln bpd; after
completing strategic pipelines to Faiha‑Habbur and Banyas the government aims to
raise total export capacity to 5.0 mln bpd and also to export via the Strait of
Hormuz.
