EIA Natural Gas Report: For the week ending September 4, total U.S. natural gas inventories were 3,254 billion cubic feet, an increase of 40 billion cubic feet from the previous week, a decrease of 79 billion cubic feet from the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 2.4%, and 148 billion cubic feet higher than the 5-year average, an increase of 4.8%.

On energy, he said oil prices will fall sharply after the midterms and he will push gasoline below $2/gal, though that may take longer. He tied any return of oil to above $100/bbl to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and describing Iran's economy and domestic situation as very poor.
